We were set a brief by one of our regular clients, Media 10, to conceptualise and create a TV advert that could be used for several years. The challenge was content can date quickly, requirements and needs can change. After discussion we agreed on a 3D CGI rendered animation covering the key areas of the show and an end frame that we could swap out for next year’s show.

The project was story boarded, drafts created and approved and a full rendered animation created and we organised broadcast clearance and delivery to the TV station to take that hassle from the client to make their life easier.

The next year, we adapted it as needed and due to the success, the advert ended up being used for 8 additional years! During this time, it got adapted for different locations such as Birmingham and Australia, and had the challenge that we originally created in Standard Definition, but 7 years later, High Definition was the requirement! Working with CGI this was possible and it’s been adapted and used for social campaigns, marketing images and fair to say, a cost-effective advert!
